About Us

Waley Insurance Agency opened its doors for business by a mother of three young boys in September 1980. Working by herself for the most part, Jeannie Waley, a lifetime resident of Leander, had a few employees on and off through the years. Then in November 2020, she brought her son, Josh into the office to teach him the ropes of the small family owned agency. They worked hand in hand together until her early death in November of 2007.

She taught Josh how to not only work the insurance business but also taught him how to listen to the needs of the clients as they came for help with their insurance concerns. Josh has been working the business, as his mother did in the early years, by himself. He looks forward to what the future brings for the business as the insurance industry evolves.
